Christmas in our Farmhouse Style Kitchen

Merry Christmas Friends!

I had debated whether I wanted to celebrate Christmas in the kitchen this year. After breaking up from work and school, we left for a beach holiday up the Coast. I hadn't done anything in the kitchen and given we were going to be away, I didn't think I would find the time when we got back.

It wasn't until Christmas Eve that I decided to add a bit of Christmas cheer. And I'm so glad I did!

So today I'm sharing my Christmas in the Kitchen decor!

These are my DIY shelves above the sink. I'm still in love with my metal Bakery sign.

I'll admit these shelves had gotten a bit crowded during the year, so it was also a good time to give them a clean and declutter.

I stuck with my neutral farmhouse style colour theme, adding in lots of natural elements and keeping my favourite kitchen decor items on display.

Some items I borrowed from other areas of our home, like these cute little reindeers.

I love this little tree in the enamel measuring jug.

And I can never have enough bottle brush trees!

And I love this small vintage flower frog as the perfect little bottle brush tree stand.

An area in the kitchen I had managed to decorate earlier was the shelves on the side of the pantry cupboard.

You can see these shelves from the entryway so it's always nice to have them looking pretty.

I love tying in elements from the kitchen with seasonal decor and this little display worked well.

And this cute little snowy wreath found its perfect home for the holidays next to my vintage hand brooms and cutting boards.

Do you decorate your kitchen for Christmas? Maybe I've inspired you to do so next Christmas. 😊

Merry Christmas!

Julie :)
