Chalk Painting 3 Small Tables
Happy Tuesday everyone!
My goodness, it feels like it has been ages since my last post. What have you all been up to? I've been busy planning my Christmas decorating. Christmas is the time when I decorate the most and always have lots of DIY's on the go. This year is no different. I can't wait to share everything with you all! In fact, today's post will give you all a sneak peak at some of my festive decor. 😊
Today I'm sharing 3 posts in one. Well, three tables any way. 😉
You may remember this cute little side table I shared recently in my Vintage Dining Chair Makeover post. It was an absolute bargain for $5.
And with a few brush strokes of my magic DIY white chalk paint, it was totally transformed!
I
love to distress my furniture when I use chalk paint. Then a clear coat
of varnish seals it all and protects if from any spills.
You may remember I have had my DIY crate style side tables next to our sofa for a few years now and I just felt like a change.
There's also plenty of room for a big basket of cosy blankets now.
My second little table I thrifted for $15.
It also came up a treat with a few coats of white chalk paint and some light distressing.
I've placed it at the other end of our sofas.
These
little numbered tables used to be here. They are now in the middle of
both our sofas. Don't worry, I'll be sharing more of our living room
soon and you can see all the changes I've made. 😊
And
last but not least is this vintage plant stand. I friend gave it to me
and it works perfectly for displaying faux plants in the corner in our
dining room.
It
too is now a beautiful shade of white chalk paint. I did like the
contrast of the wood against the wall, but I also wanted to change this
piece up a bit too. And I love the way it turned out. 😊
I
hope you liked seeing these little furniture makeovers. It really is
crazy what a different a bit of paint can make. I look forward to
sharing a few other projects I've been working on soon! Until then, take
care and stay safe everyone!
Julie :)
