Simple DIY Christmas Feather Wreath
Getting my front verandah Christmas ready has been a trying task this year. I wanted to do something special, but just couldn't come up with many ideas. One thing I did know was that I wanted a door wreath and it had to stand out against our black wire security door.
So, it had to be white! I love my feather Easter wreath, and that gave me the idea to use white feather boas.
For my wreath, I purchased from Spotlight a 45cm DIY metal wire wreath marked down to $3.50.
And two feather boas for $8 each.
That's a total cost of $19.50 for a rather large and impressive multipurpose wreath!
And it really was as simple as wrapping the feather boas around the wreath.
I secured the ends with a dab of hot glue and it was finished.
I was tempted to leave it plain, but my outdoor theme changed to include some red elements so I added some hanging red bells I purchased from Ronis for $5 and a clip on burlap and gold sequin flower I had in my Christmas stash. And it can easily be changed up every year or for any occasion.
