2023 Christmas Table Setting and Kitchen Decor
Happy Christmas Friends!
I'm so excited to be sharing my Christmas table setting this year.
I chose to go with a neutral and gold colour pallet this year. Layering wooden chargers with pure white plates and gold cutlery.
And on each plate I added a printed paper napkin, mini pine cone, mini clay ornament and a mini cream coloured bottle brush Christmas tree.
This year I also opted for wine glasses instead of water glasses. I chose these glasses after purchasing a few bottles of Ikea's Christmas Sparkling Apple and Lingon drink. It is non-alcoholic but still feels like you are toasting the festive season, specially for the kids.
For the centrepiece, I used a frayed white runner and topped it with vases from Ikea filed with pinecones and star sprigs also from Ikea. And then some sprigs of greenery to fill them out a bit more.
In the centre I included candles on pillars and to tie everything in with the place settings, I used a scattering of various sized mini cream coloured bottle brush trees.
And for my backdrop I added my large Christmas reindeer wall canvas.
On the other side of the dining room is my farmhouse hutch which makes the perfect Christmasy backdrop for lunch.
CHRISTMAS IN THE KITCHEN
I used the same theme of my mini bottle brush trees on the shelves in the kitchen.
I might have to keep an eye out for a metal Christmas sign for the kitchen for next year.
I also added a large wooden star to the front of my shelves.
And on the side of the pantry I added a wreath tied with a red velvet bow.
On the shelf I added a mini flocked tree in a vintage bowl, a rusty vintage bell tied with a striped ribbon, mini pine cone and a Christmas mug.
And a simple red tea towel adds a finishing touch of Christmas.
Now, it is Christmas eve here and I still need to wrap presents so I have to hop to it!
Wishing you all a very happy Christmas day tomorrow!
Julie
