Holiday Thrifty Finds January 2025
When ever we go on holiday up north to the beach, I always insist on calling into a special little antique shop. This time unfortunately I discovered it is no longer there, but the lovely lady had a smaller shop open this time a short distance down the road.
And that is where I got this gorgeous chippy cabinet. I had be wanting something just like it and it was super cheap so we were definitely making room in the car for it.
I also found these adorable antique mini ballerina framed prints. The frames are so old they are slightly crumbling. Love these.
We also called into another awesome little charity shop where I found these cute frames and prints.
And a few little nick nacks.
I really wasn't sure what this was but noticed it as soon as I entered the shop, and with a $1 price tag, I knew I could find some use for it. The gentleman at the op shop said he thought it was some sort of coffee plunger. And after doing a Google image search it does seem to be a drink mixer, similar to the ones used by Horlicks drinks below.
Don't you love a bit of vintage history.
So this was my holiday thrift hall!
:) Julie
