Saturday's Thrifty Finds

I was such a big spender today - a whole $5.50!  

Admittedly that was before I hit the hardware store and spent a fortune on white exterior paint for the kids cubby house and maybe the posts on our front and back verandahs, which are currently black.  But that is another blog post. :)

So what did I buy you are dying to know.

 

Well, first of all I scored this really cute wooden framed chalk board.  I love the shape of the frame.  I'm guessing it will get a make over. And I'm thinking it will be living somewhere in the kitchen. Cost 50 cents.  

 

My next two purchases were these two succulent plants.  I mainly bought them for the pots.  Love the tall tin container.  And the cost you might be wondering.  A whopping $2 each.  Score!  They are currently on the front verandah.

 

And finally I got this cute ...... wooden sign?  That is what I plan to use if for anyway. Not sure what it was meant for, but I'm sure it will make a great project. Can't wait. Cost $1.

So, all in all some nice little thrifty finds. :)
