Wooden Christmas Tree with DIY Fabric Ornaments

I made this wooden tree a few years ago and each year it gets a little makeover.

This was last year's tree.  All white with small gold ornaments.

This year I made sewed larger fabric ornaments for my tree.

I used cardboard templates to cut out each ornament.

The sewed them together, adding a small amount of stuffing before closing.

Then I added some fabric ribbons to embellish and hang them.

I also added some battery operated string lights to the tree this year.

And at night...
