Snowy Spray Painted Christmas Tree

Similar to my previous post on my Chalk Paint Flocked Christmas Tree,
I decided to try using a spray bottle filled with watered down white
paint to flock our large green Christmas tree.

So I took it outside all assembled and placed in onto a large tarp.

Then, using a spray bottle filed with one part white paint and two parts water,
I worked my way around the tree, spraying the branches.

And then after it dried, I applied a second coat.
I love that the paint actually dries really fast using this method.

Then I brought my tree inside, popped it in a crate, all ready to decorate.
I love how my tree turned out. It really toned down the bright green branches.

  1. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this! What a great idea! I am going to do this to our small faux tree. Thank you for the idea!

  2. That turned out great. I hate my tree and would like it to be like it just snowed on it. Will have to try that. Thanks for the DIY.
Have a great weekend and looking forward to seeing your tree all decorated.
