Old Book Page Bird Christmas Tree

I "borrowed" this gorgeous idea from the super lovely Kerryanne at Shabby Art Boutique.  She created a really cute little book page bird Christmas tree and I knew I had to try and make one for myself. You can see Kerryanne's original post here.

I'm so happy with the way it turned out, and it was so easy to make.

I simply used the template Kerryanne provided and cut out my book pages for each side, and a piece of cardboard for the centre.

I glued them all together, cut out the wings from a brown paper bag and added my own inspirational words by hand.

I plan to reuse the birds for another project so I can look at them all year. :)

Kerryanne, thank you so much for inspiring me to make my own!

  1. So thrilled that you liked my bird tree Julie and that it could be the inspiration for your own tree. I love how you have placed it in a basket too.
    Merry Christmas,

  2. Sweet! Can't wait to see what you are doing with them next!
    Holiday Hugs,
